Thriving

poṣa

Opening Satsang

Growth. Prosperity. Wealth. Thriving. These are the essence of the Sanskrit word poṣa. What do these definitions evoke for you? Within how many areas of life can you imagine embodying and enjoying growth, prosperity, wealth and Thriving while in a state of ease and flow? Do you have any resistance to the word wealth? Do you have any insecurity about Thriving? The Vedas speak of the “four goals of life”: Dharma (Duty), Artha (Wealth), Kama (Enjoyment), and Moksha (Liberation/Enlightenment). Taken together, when each of these areas are growing, we are indeed Thriving. During the month of January, we freshly explore our relationship to Thriving in All ways, and willingly take steps to grow beyond our familiar conditioning.

Meditation Satsang

In our meditation training for the month of January, we meditate on the Source of all true nourishment as well as actively allowing ourselves to receive it. As we get more and more familiar with the feeling of Thriving, practicing often, we carve new neural pathways in the direction of being people who are actively Thriving.

Ecstatic Breathwork Satsang

In our breathwork practice for the month of January, we use the breath to surface and dissolve any blocks we may be carrying to greater Thriving in all ways. Our conditioning is known in Sanskrit as “Samskara”. Think of samskaras like the grooves in a vinyl record. The grooves produce music. In a human, they produce conditioned ways of thinking, behaving and seeing the moments of life. These samkaras have to be exposed before they can be expelled. Samskaras are the only thing covering up our direct awareness of the highest Truth, which lies in all of its shining glory behind our conditioning.
